Knee pain care · Cheyenne, Wyoming
Knees that ache on the stairs. Stiffness when you get out of the car. Pain that came back after surgery, or never left. Our team looks at why your knee still hurts and builds a non-surgical plan to help you get back to the things you love.
You're not alone
Who we help
Wear and tear that causes aching, stiffness, swelling, and grinding, including knees described as "bone on bone."
Pain that has hung on for months or years and keeps limiting what you do.
The surgery is done, but the knee still hurts, swells, or doesn't feel strong.
You did what you were supposed to do and still have pain. Many of our therapies can be used after a replacement.
Why it still hurts
Your knee is more than bone and cartilage. The muscles around it act like shock absorbers and keep the joint moving in line. After an injury, years of arthritis, or surgery, those muscles often stop firing the way they should.
When that happens, the joint takes more stress, the tissue stays irritated, and pain keeps coming back, even when an X-ray or a surgery says the structure is fixed.
Our approach works on all of it: taking pressure off the joint, supporting the tissue, and retraining the muscles around the knee.
Your first visit
Before we recommend anything, we find out exactly how your knee is moving.
Your care plan
Every plan is built from your evaluation and may include:
Gentle decompression that creates space in the knee joint.
FDA-cleared acoustic sound waves for minor muscle aches and pains and local blood circulation. Learn more
Retrains the muscles around the knee to fire the way they should. Dr. A has post-graduate training in Trigenics for the knee.
Gentle chiropractic adjustments to help the knee joint move better.
Light-based therapy to calm sore tissue and support healing.
A wearable device that helps the muscles around your knee start firing, even while you move.
Changes to decrease inflammation and help your body heal.
Between visits
Your knee doesn't stop needing help when you leave the office. Our at-home knee neurostimulator is a wearable wrap that stimulates the muscles around your knee so they start firing the way they should.
You can wear it while you walk around the house, do chores, or go about your day. More work for your muscles, without more time on the table.
After a knee replacement
Many people come to us frustrated. They had the surgery, did the rehab, and still have pain, stiffness, or swelling. You are not imagining it, and you are not out of options.
Several of our therapies can be used after a knee replacement, meniscus repair, or ACL surgery. Your evaluation tells us which ones fit your knee.

Often, yes. Several of our therapies can be used after a knee replacement. Many patients come to us because they did everything they were supposed to and still have pain. We will look at your knee and tell you which options fit.
Surgery repairs the structure, but the muscles around the knee often stop firing correctly after an injury or operation. That can leave the joint under extra stress. Trigenics neuromuscular re-education and our wearable at-home knee neurostimulator help retrain those muscles.
Knee on Trac is a decompression device for the knee. It gently creates space in the joint while you sit comfortably, which can help take pressure off sore tissue.
Trigenics is a neuromuscular re-education method. It helps retrain the nerves and muscles around a joint so they work together the way they should. Dr. A has post-graduate training in Trigenics for the knee and shoulder.
A consultation, range of motion testing (flexion, extension, and internal and external rotation), and functional movement tests such as toe walks, heel walks, and a squat test.
Yes, we accept insurance. Some services are covered and some are not, depending on your diagnosis and your plan. We will go over your options after your evaluation, before you start care.
Book your $47 Initial Knee Evaluation at our Cheyenne clinic. We will listen, test, and tell you honestly whether we can help. We only take on patients we believe we can help.
