You're not alone
Conditions we help
Pain, burning, or tingling that travels from the low back into the buttock and down the leg.
Disc problems in the low back or neck that press on nearby nerves.
Aching, stiffness, or sharp pain that makes it hard to bend, lift, sit, or sleep.
Stiffness, limited turning, and pain that can spread into the shoulders and head.
Often linked to irritated nerves in the neck. Numb feet instead?
Wear and tear in the joints and discs of the spine, sometimes called degenerative disc disease.
Why it hurts
Between each bone in your spine is a disc that works like a cushion. When a disc bulges or herniates, or when joints narrow from arthritis, the space around the nerves gets tight.
Think of a disc like a sponge
Leave a wet sponge out to dry, and it gets firm, stiff, and thinner. Discs do something similar as we age. Spinal decompression gently stretches the spine and is designed to create negative pressure inside the disc. That can help draw water and nutrients back in, and with a bulge or herniation, it may help pull disc material away from the nerve.
A pinched nerve in the low back can send pain, burning, or numbness down the leg. That is sciatica. A pinched nerve in the neck can cause tingling or numbness down the arm and into the hand.
Our goal is to take pressure off those nerves, improve how your spine moves, and help the tissue heal, without drugs or surgery.

Your care plan
No two spines are the same, so no two plans are the same. Your plan is built from your evaluation and may include:
Gentle drop table and Activator adjustments to improve how your spine moves.
Gentle, computer-controlled stretching for the low back or neck to take pressure off discs and nerves. A patient favorite; many fall asleep during it.
FDA-cleared acoustic sound waves for sore muscles and tissue. Learn more
Added when they fit your case, to support healing and calm sore tissue.
Simple exercises to keep your spine moving and help your progress last.
When inflammation is part of the problem, changes to help your body heal.
Patient stories

Spinal decompression is a gentle, computer-controlled stretch of the spine while you lie comfortably on a table. It is designed to take pressure off discs and nerves in the low back or neck. Think of a disc like a sponge: as it dries out, it gets stiff and thin. Decompression creates negative pressure inside the disc, which can help draw water and nutrients back in and may help pull a bulge or herniation away from the nerve. It is a fan favorite at our clinic. Many patients find it so relaxing that they fall asleep on the table.
A common cause is an irritated or pinched nerve in the neck, from a disc problem, arthritis, or posture. Other causes include carpal tunnel and neuropathy. Your evaluation helps sort out where the problem starts. If numbness comes on suddenly with weakness, call your doctor or 911.
Yes. Arthritis and degenerative disc changes are common, and many people with them stay active with the right care. Gentle adjustments, decompression, SoftWave, and home exercises can help you move better.
Crack is illegal, so we adjust! In all seriousness, we use gentle adjustment methods, including a drop table and the Activator instrument. Neither requires twisting or cracking, so they are good options if you are nervous about adjustments.
A consultation, a posture evaluation with a digital printout, and a functional movement assessment. You will leave knowing what we found and whether we can help.
Yes, we accept insurance. Some services are covered and some are not, depending on your diagnosis and your plan. We will go over your options after your evaluation, before you start care.
